Types Of FSSAI LICENSE
FSSAI Registration:This is required for small food businesses with an annual turnover of up to ₹12 lakh. It is suitable for businesses like small-scale manufacturers, storage units, transporters, retailers, and distributors.
State FSSAI License:This license is applicable to medium-sized food businesses with an annual turnover between ₹12 lakh and ₹20 crore. It covers food manufacturers, storage units, transporters, retailers, and distributors operating within a single state.
Central FSSAI License: Businesses with an annual turnover exceeding ₹20 crore must obtain a Central FSSAI License. This is required for large-scale manufacturers, importers, exporters, and businesses operating in multiple states.
